Group Tours Furleigh Estate
For larger groups interested in a private visit to Furleigh Estate we offer a Group Tour for up to 25 people. These run from Easter to Harvest on Tuesdays starting at 11am. Group Tours cost £45 per person (with a minimum charge of £450).
What’s included in a Furleigh Estate Group Tour?
Our Group Tour includes your own tour guide who will lead you through:
- a stroll through one of our vineyards
- a description of the history of English wine
- an explanation of how we look after our vines during the year
- a look inside our state of the art winery and a description of how we make our still and sparkling wine
- a seated tutored tasting of three of our still and two of our sparkling wines
- a chance to buy some of our award-winning wine to take home.
As this is a private tour you will be able to loiter along the way and ask questions about those details which are of most interest to your group.
Who should come on a Furleigh Estate Group Tour?
Our private group vineyard tour and tutored tasting is perfect for Wine Societies, gardening groups, U3A or just a group of friends or family. Maybe there’s a birthday, anniversary or hen-party, or it’s just a nice excuse to do something together?
A Furleigh tour also makes a great business day out for team-building, to celebrate a work milestone or treating your clients.
What if we can’t make a Tuesday tour?
If you would like a tour on a day other than a Tuesday and have up less than 16 people in your group, check out our Classic and Grand Tours. These run every day from Wednesday to Saturday (in season) and cater for up to 16 people.
YOU SHOULD BE AWARE THAT to serve alcohol to anyone who appears to be under the age of 25, we are legally obliged to ask for proof of age. So if you are bringing young adults with you, please remind them to bring their ID with proof that they are over age 18.
