Scandinavian Pop-Up Dinner at The Alembic Canteen, Bridport

Join us for a Scandinavian Tasting Menu at the Alembic Canteen in the elegantly refurbished Literary & Scientific Institute at 51 East Street, Bridport, DT6 3JX on Thursday 27th September at 7pm.

The five course menu has been designed and will be prepared by Salt Cø Private Chef & Chocolatier.

Rebecca will host the reception in the Lower Courtyard of the LSI where the Classic Cuvée 2014 will be served with carefully crafted canapés.

The dinner will start with Chef Christian Ørner demonstrating how the Scandinavian cured Trout Gravlax is made using Furleigh Estate’s Blanc de Blancs 2013 for the Granita.

  • Iced Skyr Parfait, Berry Sorbet and Chocolate Crumb with Sparkling Rosé NV

“Pick, Crush and Dine” Harvest Days

Thursday 4th and Saturday 6th October  (**Saturday SOLD OUT)

Members of our Wine Club should have already received their invitations to this year’s “Pick, Crush and Dine” Harvest Days. These are being held on Thursday 4th and Saturday 6th October from 10.30am till 3pm. Saturday 6th October is now fully booked but there are a few places left on Thursday 4th October which we are now opening up to anyone who wants to come. The day starts at 10.30am with tea/coffee and pastries. After some picking in the vineyard, we return to the tasting room for lunch accompanied by Furleigh Estate wine. After lunch, there is chance to go to the winery and press the morning’s pick by foot. We will be looking for volunteers, so make sure you wash your feet that day! Ladies - no nail varnish, please.

The cost for non-Wine Club members is £45 per person which includes a two-course hot lunch with a glass of Furleigh Estate sparkling wine and two glasses of our still wine with your food.

STAY FIZZICAL

Wednesday 14th November at 11.15am

Nordic Walking UK accredited instructors Julia Williams and Paul Duffy from the Garden Studios in Bridport will be running a further introductory session to the basic techniques of Nordic Walking. This session starts at 11.15am with coffee and finishes after an hour with a rewarding glass of Furleigh Estate fizz. 

The cost is £10 per person which include loan of poles. Booking essential as places are limited. Please book here.
