Vineyard Tour with Vegan Wine & Canapés - 13th June 2018

Join us for this special vegan friendly tour of Furleigh Estate to celebrate Bridport Food Festival.

On arrival you will be greeted with a glass of sparkling wine before our experienced tour guide Nick Beecheno leads you down to the vineyard to tell you what’s happening with the vines at this vibrant time of year.

After a tour of the winery, where you will see how our award winning fizz is made we will return to the Cellar Door tasting room for the wine tasting.

To complement the wines, Hungry Mule catering company have created a collection of delicious plant based canapés. Victoria Bishop, our resident food and wine matching expert, will guide you through the different flavour combinations to see which ones work best, inspiring you with some fresh, healthy and exciting food and wine pairing ideas. Menu as follows:

  • Heritage tomato, caper, pangritata, semi-dried tomato, balsamic shallot and oregano
  • Guacamole crostini, crispy chilli, watercress and radish
  • Chicory, beetroot, spiced walnut, sage, lime yoghurt and caramelised red onion
  • Tempura courgette, chilli jam, sesame, bean sprout, red chicory
  • Red pepper falafel, hummus and tabouli
  • New potato bravas, squash puree, tapenade and crispy leek
