New Rosé Release with Susy Atkins featuring Rosé & Fish Dish pairing

Wednesday, 16th May 2018 from 7pm

We are delighted to announce that Susy Atkinswine correspondent for the Sunday Telegraph’s Stella Magazine will be presenting the new vintages of Furleigh Estate Sparkling Rosé and the Sea Pink at the vineyard on Wednesday 16th May.

Both rosés make ideal partners with fish so we have challenged the deliciously original and bespoke caterers, Hungry Mule, to create a collection of eight canapés encompassing flavours from the Mediterranean to the Orient to see which work the best.

Susy is an expert in the world of food and wine pairing as many will have seen from her appearances on BBC 1’s flagship cookery show ‘Saturday Kitchen’. She will guide us from Seabass with a lemongrass and ginger glaze, on to a Tuna Carpaccio followed by a Smoked Haddock Arancini, to highlight just a few.

The evening will start with a glass of Furleigh Estate Classic Cuvée on arrival and then you will be seated in the Tasting Room to start at 7pm.

Tickets are £25 each. Numbers are strictly limited so booking in advance is essential. Please book here.

Stay Fizzical Nordic Walking at Furleigh Estate

Thursday, 14th June at 5.30pm

Making the most of the long summer evenings, NWUK accredited instructors Julia Williams and Paul Duffy from The Garden Studios in Bridport will lead an evening walk through the Furleigh Estate vineyard on 14th June starting at 5.30pm, using basic techniques of Nordic Walking

Julia and Paul are passionate about exercise being accessible for all, so whilst this is a full body workout, you can set your own pace as you find the rhythm with the specialist walking poles that will be provided.
The vineyard itself is not normally open to the public, so this is a unique opportunity to enjoy some invigorating exercise in a very special setting.

Duration: 1 hour including warm up and cool down.

Tickets £10 which includes loan of poles and a glass of Furleigh fizz. Due to limited availability prior booking is essential.
