The 9th international competition of the world's best sparkling wines, Effervescents du Monde, was held on November 16 - 18 2011 in Dijon, France.
The competition covers 24 countries and this year had 552 wines entered, including Furleigh Estate's Classic Cuvee 2009. These were judged by 100 international expert judges and after three days work, the judges awarded 185 medals - 38 gold and 147 silver.
We were so pleased when we heard that our Classic Cuvee 2009 had won a SILVER MEDAL. It really does put us up there with the best in the world.
